Effecting Positive Change (EPC)


Effecting Positive Change in Women and Children offers enhanced services for up to 12 months to women with children and women who are pregnant while they participate in primary chemical health treatment. Services include:

  • case management, to ensure access to health care coverage, job training, stable housing, and medical and dental care;
  • group and in-home parenting education;
  • group and individual counseling;
  • acupuncture;
  • financial education;
  • education regarding FASD;
  • FASD screening;
  • mental health screening and referral;
  • child care while participating in services.


Services are provided by an LADC, a Case Manager, and a Maternal Child Health Nurse.

Women participating in primary treatment in agencies throughout the metro area may be referred to EPC.

Tuesday 12:30 - 2:00 PM
Thursday 12:30 - 2:00 PM
Friday 12 noon - 2:00 PM
